Ahh...that be the problem...." Cage " is not a normal font and you need to include the font in the zip file with instructions in your ' details ' to install font first.

Rather than including as a seperate zip, embed the font into the skin itself.  One less step for the user and much easier for a noob.

Set the font in the Font config on the States tab. Go to the summary tab and click on the "Custom Files" button. Add the font and export.

There you go.

I don't recall where the font came from, I've had it for years. Don't I need permission?

Don't I need permission?

Actually, I was downstairs and thought the same thing.
Yes.  You need permission if you are distributing a font that you did not create or is not distributed freely.

Thanks, I thought so. I'm a portrait photographer and we're sorta sensitive about copyright infringements.

The fact is though, if you added it in the zip you'd have the same problem.
Your safest bet is to not include it and give the name of the font in the description so someone else can find it if they want.  I'd also use a standart font.

For the few objects I made, I used a font I built based on my own print.
The font below is a example (bad) that I did as a test for Fairry (an age ago).
You can also see it in my two DX widgets here

if they are the same fonts listed here WWW Link then you would need permission to use them as they are for sale.

This is an attractive desktop. Thanks and keep up the good work.

One oddity on my PC. Windows will not maximize vertically. If I wish they can be moved to the bottom of the screen or if I minimize them I can drag the borders to fill the screen vertically.

My monitor is set for 1280x1024. The windows act as though the monitor was set for 1280x768, starting from the top. As I said I can resize the windows to use the full screen. They just will not maxize to use the full screen. Everything else is positioned correctly (tasks and tray bars).

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

The theme is configured to reduce 40 pixels from the left side and, I believe, 40 pixels from the bottom.

If you would like to change this, right-click the DX icon in the System tray and click "Switch to Desktop Buider".

Right-click the DX Builder icon in the system tray and choose "Configure DesktopX Builder".

Click desktop tab > Workarea. Replace the 40s with zeros. Now you will have your full desktop back but your windows will sometimes be behind the theme items.

Please let me know if this is not the problem.

Thanks, I just changed the font to, I believe, Arial.
